Hello,
I am a third year Psychology student and I am extremely interested in the effects of MDMA on cognitive function.
And I have decided to conduct an experiment on the effects of MDMA on Prospective memory, while accounting for a previously not considered variable of stress.
Unfortunately I am struggling to find individuals who have used MDMA/ecstasy within a university population, so I am reaching out to this forum.
If anyone could take the 10 minutes to complete my survey I would be very grateful.

Also, you make up your own unique identifier, my apologise that this is not clearer in the introduction.
Thanks
Hey good luck man, doubt I’d qualify or I’d be 0on the train now :lol_big:
Seriously though good luck with your resea4ch and there might just be 1 person here who fits the bill and we would love to know the results of any resaearch that does get done. 🙂
Before I even look at your survey I can tell you this, the results will not be reliable. There aren’t many people that would use MDMA and not simultaneously use other substances that affect memory such as alcohol and cannabis.

When did the forum develop a requirement for an emoticon depicting a banana on fire shaking its tits at me? lol
I have no fucking clue why everything is a banana and fucking.
Kind Banana is the overlord.

Ah, Kind Banana. The man, the myth, the bell-end.
How did this get on to bananas?
You don’t need to get on a train! It’s an online survey which you can access through the link, probably should of made that clearer, my apologise.
As for questions about reliability, I believe through some magical statistical analysis (if I get enough participants) I can isolate MDMA use to a certain extent. But yes you are right it will not be completely isolated. My teacher told me the amish (or possibly similar group in North America) are forbidden from all substances including alcohol, but are allowed MDMA, which would make a great sample!
Thank you to everyone who has completed the online questionnaire. I really appreciate it.
Thanks a lot man. Everyone qualifies, not sure if you a referring to a figurative or literal train… ha (it’s an online study, just incase it’s the latter!).
Like your profile picture, must say I enjoyed the book much more though.

That’s a fair point. But through the magic of statistical analysis and enough participants, you can isolate the effect of a single variable (MDMA in this case) to a reasonable extent!
But continuing on from your point! My Addictive Behaviours lecturer informed us that there is a small cohort in America (Possibly Amish) who can’t drink or take illicit drugs, except MDMA! So that would be an incredible sample.
Those crazy Amish……

Lol, I love the concept of some Amish joyriding in their horse and cart, off their beans on XTC.
