Tbh mate I couldn’t give a toss about either side. Both groups are full of shit.

I figured you did from your numerous posts denouncing UAF as fascist, I think you had a signature in reference to them at one point. If you don’t give a toss why do you post about each of them in threads? Not that giving a toss is particularly worth it, both sides hit the media spotlight in the short-term yet do little to change the political situation regarding the relevant issues surrounding their so-called motivation.

if you follow the history of football hooligan firms there are also left wing as well as right wing hooligans. Also another reason it initially kicked off is that busloads of Pakistani teenagers were being taken to local footy matches by Asian cab drivers and a untrue rumour went about that these minibuses were being funded out of the public purse (in fact the money comes from collections they have at mosques).

none of them want the fighting to stop, and cops/security service have found strong evidence the “rival” leaders are covertly meeting one another to arrange these fights!

what they (including the UK chapters of Al-Quaeda) want to do is bring Britain back to 25 years ago when working class males (of all colours, races and religions) essentially ran the urban streets and could fight for territory as they pleased, and everyone else had to get the fuck out of the way whilst they did so. This is something which modern “politically correct” policing and CCTV has mostly put a stop to. To be fair the rave scene temporarily did so but in truth it pushed a lot of anger forward into midweek comedowns which had a adverse effect on other people, including friends, partners and work colleagues.

sadly the only people what come up looking good out of these pointless “protests” are the modern Police, who are managing to stop too many innocent folk being caught up or having property destroyed, and bringing those what do such things to justice.

I wrote that post early this morning mate. I was in a rush for work so couldn’t give a better answer.

But yeah man I’m finding the whole UAF/EDL/BNP shite quite tiresome now.

It’s always the same old shit from each group so I figure it’s best to just start ignoring em in the hope they fade into obscurity.

Also I figure obsessing over stuff like this isn’t healthy so it’s best to make a fresh start and ignore it all. 🙂

yes football hooligans have their alignments, which are basically fascist these days. the majority have been for a long time, millwall, chelsea, leeds etc. west ham was the most famous non=fascist one. most were all left-wing in a way i.e. socialist, just some nationalist socialist.

this is relevant to EDL, as they are made up of football casuals. combat 18-lite and less organised.

your point about wanting the violence is probably relevant to SWP, honest they do my head in too. they’re all my age and basically ambush any peaceful demostration to cause a ruckus during their 3-year revoluntionary uni life.

however you can hardly say trade unions and green party and co-op movement want to fight. i’ve been there and theirs is just a presence of opposition, peaceful to the core. they also tend to be older.

i dont like violent protest. i dont see anything wrong with setting up colourful camp and demonstrating your opposition to EDL marching through the streets of multicultural leeds though. it’s not gonna do much, but it can be a celbration not anger. and then its fun. SWP can fuck off tis all, none of the more mature groups want em there.

if any of the groups (including EDL and Muslims too) genuinely don’t want to fight then they have to distance themselves from those what do and if the worst comes to it to even tell the Police who the violent extremists are (which to be fair the Muslims are now starting to do).. otherwise the cops will only go back to using covert infiltration methods more like they did 10-20 years ago..
