Fields. Preferably fields where there are cows or sheep. Look out for signs of other types of fungi.

What Chris said, but also go in August, preferably a day or two after some rainfall in otherwise sunny (ish) weather. go before it gets frosty.

We arnt into Liberty Cap season yet, but in the meantime I suggest a legal grow kit, you know, for dem oyster mushrooms.
Love those oyster mushrooms.
