AFAIK you shouldn’t take anti-biotics with alcohol, not because you will get mashed (that is pure fiction) but because alcohol stops the anti-biotics working
if you don’t complete a full course of ABs, or interrupt the course, orget drunk half way through, the infection may become resistant to ABs and will either a) get much worse and become untreatable and b) you are contributing to the ‘super-bugs’, such as anti-biotic resistant TB
so don’t do it… if you’re ill, just rest for a few days until the infection has gone
