A Dutch radioamateur asked if it was possible to increase the TX power of my mini pager transmitter (it is) but that is pushing what I am allowed to transmit on this frequency; and if there were realliy strong atmospherics my signal might even end up going straight over the Orwell across the North Sea (where the UHF allocation I use is allocated to Defensie Nederland.
but as I do intend to use it as part of the cat monitor I can just about get away with it :laugh_at:
Saskia turns up twice on some Agentschap Telecom videos; although in the main one a younger meisje explains how AT operates, I noticed that Saskia and the Asian boffin were doing some very brainy stuff with multiple receivers and monitoring equipment tuned to the Dutch pager frequencies..
