YES you can do this on your own!…everyone can do whatever they put their mind and heart to…good or evil…
being stressed out about the financial situation and the “sins of non believers” won’t help you, it will only get worse (wish that it doesn’t)…
“god” does not live outside somewhere…there is no inside or outside in “god”s territory…this is only the limited human perception as we try to figure out what is right and what is wrong…and the fear of “wrong doings” narrows our mind…why would i choose to be conditioned by the promise of eternal life after i die or the threat of eternal flames on my soul?

don’t do good things telling yourself that it’s for the future judgement…whenever u expect something u most certainly will be disappointed…do good because u feel like doing it and feel good about it, without expecting a reward…it would be much too arrogant to condition “god” like this…”hey god, i did a lot of good things, why don’t u reward me with eternal life?”…arrogance is also a “sin”…actually, vanity is…
your point of view about god is very “human” as i see it…and humans are quite small and almost insignificant compared to the whole universe, or “the knigdom of god” if u like.
i also read the bible and found out that to decrypt the message inside, one has to be quite wise and risen above the “human condition”…besides, the bible is not complete…
“what goes around, comes around”…meaning that if u fear something that something will eventually come up in your life….alswo works viceversa, think good and true… and peace, wisdom and nice things will come up also.
maybe u should listen to Bob Marley on a beautiful sunday morning instead of a pastor.
before asking for god’s forgiveness, u should FORGIVE YOURSELF first, and start from there, without conditioning and fears…if you truly believe in “god” than u should know…
if i recall properly, it was (also) jesus who said that before preaching and saving others, one must save oneself…and u don’t seem safe to me, but quite desperate for saving…stop preaching and start learning! start knowing! knowledge is true power!
all we can do is feel good about ourselves, act accordingly to our feelings and everything will be just fine…no matter who is “watching and judging”
be strong and face your fears!
we came in this world not to bow down our heads and surrender to any god, we came in this world to enjoy life and make something good of it!
