as you cant seem to drive past a road where an incident has happened with out seeing flowers and acknowledgement of what has ahppened,I’m not saying this is right or wrong – I dont think it is how I would pay my respects
I think that is more that in this country people drive badly and dangerously and don’t realise until its way too late – and fast powerful cars are easy to afford despite fuel cost issues. Even young cyclists are reckless, the amount I see without lights or weaving in and out of traffic and being aggressive (its like a sort of territorial thing the way some ride). So there are lots of road crashes, perhaps more than there should be – especially of cars packed with young people. So most of the flowers are put there by actual friends and relatives of the deceased, rather than randoms.
Also as well as RTCs a lot more people are dying young due to drugs OD’s, suicides and violence – its actually been picked up on by the UN health authorities as they get the counts of every incident/death from the health departments of every country – apparently for some age groups its even starting to reverse the gains made by medical and social progress in recent years…
In my town alone I think there have been about 3 suicides and an equal number of murders since the start of the year. So thats as many as when the serial killer was about but he has been safely in jail for years, and we are only just halfway through the year. And that excludes RTC figures as I’ve not been paying so much attention to those on the A12/A14 as I don’t cycle on there – although I think two Lithuanian lads were killed in a crash a few days ago.
because of all this, I’m hardly surprised there are so many public tributes – its actually because a lot of people are dying young on the streets.

Oh, I know all about that TG hehehe!
I’m glad you mentioned this, for a few years R I P annoyed me. Rest… in peace? is that really what you do.
If you don’t write a gay message on profile/wall whatever then you are a bad person.
If i was to write a something to someone who’d died i certainly would never put R I P RIP RIP FUCKING RIP
It’s not Rest in Peace. It’s Rave in Peace. How did you not know that Poly???
