I think its a shame what has happened as I literally grew up with Partyvibe (I was still in my 20s when I first posted here!) but maybe the site has been a āvictim of its own success?ā
The well educated, socially aware young people of high school and University age who kept this site going over the years now know that the 90s/2000s lifestyles of partying and drugs arenāt long term sustainable, so they arenāt getting into the scene as deeply as before (most are concentrating on their studies, or environment and social activism and that isnāt a bad thing!)
I hope the site data can be kept as its a 20 year archive of cultural history across the world (even the stuff like the 2012/3 spate of gender fluidity amongst the regular users, and the Asian spammers and their links being replaced by geese)
if there is a 20 year old archive existing, there should be a way to make a copy of all fucking emoji and smilees that were coloring the old party vibe
AND I STILL SAY THE BROWN AND ORANGE COLOR DOSENT ATTRACT PEOPLE TO STAY IN THAT SHITTY COLORED ENVIRONMENT WITH AN ORANGE VOMITTING COLOR
I’m going to keep posting for now although I don’t know what the future olds for the site.
I will keep posting when I have something to post though it’s becoming increasingly difficult for me to obtain compounds to talk about. I’d hate to think a place I loved so much might die, I met some very cool people here but even the people that still survive don’t bother posting, such a shame.
