Yeah mate i saw RfaD ages ago when i was on a proper bad comedown! Not the best time i’ve ever had!! In Requim who do you reckon had the worst time of it (Out of the four characters?)
No fair that question could be the tittle of a 100 page dissertation:weee:
Probably Harry becuase he has lost the most literally an emotionally i suppose.
A draw would have been my gut reaction having not seen the film for a while.
However on rewatching the ending Harry is probably my choice but hay it’s open for debate .
Deffinetly not a comedown film Spun is probably more like it 😉
being john malcovich
leon
true romance
the koyaanisqatsi collection – anyone else seen these? drug users must see in my eyes, they’re not actually about drugs, there just quite trippy pieces of cinematography
amelié

hackers
edward scissorhand
romeo + juliet
dancehall queen
home alone 1 + 2
Ghost Dog-Best film ever. Everything about it is totally sick, especially the soundtrack!!
Memento
Human Traffic
Zatoichi
Shaolin vs Wutang-Classic old skool kung fu film
Ghost in the Shell
Yea, Akira and Oldboy are fucking classics!
A few I think are good that I’ve recently watched are:
Pan’s labyrinth
City of god
Children of men
The departed
V for Vendetta
I’m sure I’ll think of some more ‘classics’ but most have been mentioned already
Nice to see City of God mentioned so many times. Just thinking of some that haven’t:
The Machinist (for Christian Bale fans?)
These might not be for everyone but I like them:
Man Bites Dog
Hexed
Doin’ Time on Planet Earth
Surprised no one’s mentioned Brazil (are Brits just sick of Terry Gilliam ? ;-))

Great film that!
Whats everyones all time favorite film or a film that has truly touched you?
Has anyone seen Requim for a Dream? It’s centered on four characters who are all hooked on drugs and shows their descent into utter despair, I never thought a film could fuck with me head but that one did! (Didn’t help i was on a pill comedown as well but that film stayed with me for literally months after!!) :you_crazy
Problem with that film with me was they were smacked up on coke and buzzing their bollocks off on gear. Hmmm sack the researcher.
Safe raver.
