My favorite horror film is SAW. Love this series.

    !!!!yaG

The original nightmare of elm street. class!

My favorite horror movie is wrong turn 4. Because i saw this movie after i m very sacred………
Because it’s based on real human killing story ……….

    Cool runnings

Aliens is pretty awesome, I love that universe, scared the shit out of my sister at the time (she was only 7 or 8) especially when I kept mentioning ‘Queen aliens coming to get you!!!’ She will not watch any horror now.

I think one of the best I’ve seen in recent years was Creep.

Unfortunately for us old and bold who grew up watching the like of Friday the 13th, Hallowe’en and Nightmare on Elm Street nothing is going to compare really.

    Cannibal Holocaust?

The thing or the entire alien series….I’m not being made to choose.

Creep – good film, I also like it

    Braindead is ace

    Lionel…..take me home!

    The thing. Hands down

Loved that movie when I was young, recall watching in on my B&W portable late night in bed and thought it was brilliant, but tried watching it again as an adult in full widescreen colour and it was trash. The special effects dated badly and the impact lessens as the viewer ages.

Definitely a lesson learned, many movies are far better as memories than they are in reality

Horror has never really been my genre of choice, I see Alien/s and Pitch Black mentioned, 3 great movies which I own copies of but all Sci Fi IMO NOT Horror

One horror movie I do remember actually scaring me at the time ( rather than being a gorefest like the Freddie movies or just having surprises that make you jump like the Final Destination movies ) was An American Werewolf in London, of course my age and the setting were probably as much to do with being scared as movie itself being only 9 or 10 and watching it in a dark room with my cousin both quashed into one armchair lol

Again the memory probably better than the movie so I refuse to rewatch it and risk spoiling that memory

Bad Taste was a good comedy horror and i couldn’t sleep with my foot out the bed after watching paranormal activity haha

Not a horror really but it fucks me up mentally more than scary films – Requiem for a dream – film leaves me twisted and I need the light turned on and something funny before I can sleep… fuck sakes… DARK SHIT

    ^^^ DARK AMBIENT MAN… :O

Silent Hill (2006) – I’ve watched it numerous times and it still scares me. I was surprised to learn that it was filmed after a computer gave although you can in fact track it afterall.

House of Wax! Such a creepy concept.

    The original HellRaiser movie
