girls are culturally conditioned to grow up and conform faster (round here you would think they get menopause at 30 the way they behave) which leads many to try and party hard in their youth so they can “get it out of their system” by age 25 or thereabouts, which paradoxically leads more into getting into problematic use patterns.

As for prison, a young good looking woman can often get higher up the chain of a dealing netork of party drugs especially linked to night time events (due to a gender imbalance in private security and policing making random searches less common), many often are more businesslike and reliable as dealers.

However they must fairly often get busted by a combination of young female Police detectives the same age who notice things like a girl who is only sporadically employed having an expensive car and buyinh new shoes every two weeks, and maybe even their own “friends” grassing them up out of jealousy.

Even for my generation it was not uncommon for parents to call the Police to the family home because of their offspring’s drug related behaviour (particularly after family arguments).

Often a parent reporting their child results in a much more lenient penalty (as the cops/NHS/social services still think “they can help the family unit”) whereas a young person of the same age living on their own and getting caught for the same or far lesser stuff (especially if they are in receipt of benefits) is far more likely to serve prison time. I’ve noticed this discrepancy in both SE England and the East.

That said if the parents are profiting from the crime (like the Asian lad in Reading who sold crack from the basement of his family home, using the proceeds to pay his share of the mortgage) they will get hauled up too, for that case because they were old and not in 100% good health they got a suspended sentence (the young lad did get prison) but had their own house locked off on ASBO rules for a few months as a punishment and warning to others.
