I would be willing to help out my only condition is that there should be free food to people that cant pay. it’s not that hard to offer some free grub to skint peep’s
What’s more rewarding giving or taking (i understand there are overheads but I’m sure I’m not the only one) so my advice trust people if they can pay they will and if they understand that by paying they are helping other’s they will probably give a little extra
I CANT BELIVE THINGS HAVE CHANGED SO MUCH!!!!!!!!
it’s not about the money it’s about inclusion
I offer my service’s free and i will try and get like minded people to give supplies for free
AM I WRONG ?
is greed the motivating factor in all this, if so SHAME on you

people who goto festivals generaly have some cash .. mby all proceeds could be donated to the homless or something?

If they can afford to get tickets to a festival they should be able to afford to eat while there. And if they cant, don’t go in the first place!!

Plus all the dodgy blagger types will just eat for free so they can shovel more K up their nose.

Err, wierd question, the answer is an emphatic NO. I am working for this festival on a voluntary basis. Why? Because I am good friends with the people organising it. Because I love music, love festivals and wish to be involved in developing a festival on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey.

FFS, I would understand if I was trying to promote a forced sex porn channel but I am simply looking for quality caterers for a fledgling festival!

And BTW, the organiser themselves will be really lucky if they manage to break even on this. They will put in huge amounts of mental and physical energy (as well as lots of hard cash up front) into making this happen so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DROP THE NEGATIVE CYNICISM!!

When ever I visit a festival I always take enough food to eat myself, I use the vendors when I am too mashed to cook or fancy something better then beans… however the last festi I went to I cooked spaghetti bolognaise on a camp stove raaa

man that spag bowl was the nips … i only had a little due to too much rugs .. but i was very impressed! allso your washing up technique amazed me! :laugh_at:

Thanks for the comment on my cooking, but I am unsure on my washing technique.. was this washing in a fucked up state or just binning the pans (my usual, I know its wastefull :hopeless:)

a half decent (like in the towns all over) kebbab van that doesn’t over charge. Its the over charging that’s the main issue with me. But I cannot be more helpful never remember the names of any of the stalls etc.
