haven’t really been active over the last little while due to all that holiday stuff. Not to mention getting ready to move again. Hope everyone enjoyed their holidays, I know I did.
Anywho, I’d like to travel a bit this summer. I’ve always loved to travel (been all over canada, a little bit in the US), I’d like to travel to the Netherlands. Mainly for Defqon1. The last two years Q-dance has hosted it in Evenemententerrein, Biddinghuizen.
Just wondering if anyone has tips on this festival or has gone. Maybe even any other Q-dance or hardstyle like event. Here where I live, we’ve had the biggest hardstyle events in northern america. I enjoy my massives, I go to them every month when we have one. And I’ve only been to two music festivals during summer (shabhala 2012 and boonstock2012/2013). Kind of looking to travel away from home more for a new adventure. If I can’t make it happen this year, next year would be nice.
And even if you haven’t been to defqon, if you have traveled around there what did you enjoy? what do you reccomend, etc etc. Hopefully get some wicked tips, thanks!
I would check out Mysteryland – Choose your destination – USA, Chile, Netherlands, News | Tomorrowland or Home | Shambala FestivalShambala Festival | Independent, sustainable, celebrating community and creativity. Neither of them are pure hardstyle but mysteryland+Tomorrowland have several hardstyle/hardcore stages. And if you can get a ticket I highly recommend http://www.fusion-festival.de/en/x/home/ , its not a hardstyle event but its so different from everything else that I am sure you will have the time of your life.
Haven’t been to defqon, but was at that shambala, love that place as does anyone off here who’s been! 🙂

I’ve heard of mysterland, would like to try that too.. glad they decided to bring one to usa. But I’d for sure check out the Netherlands one to travel a bit more. tomorrowland/tomorrow world I’ve also heard of as well. I do like how they both have different stages, thats always nice to change things up a bit if you wish. I just know I’m not planning for just myself. For a few people and seeing if anyone has been to the netherlands and or defqon. I’ve also been told natureone is good, along with sensation festivals (last year came to canada for the first time) 🙂
Where I’m pretty lucky to get all night massives and or two day events every monthish. It’s just always fun to try new things or go new places.

No its in Europe, Great-Britain or England or UK(United-Kingdom) lol
There are a several trance parties in Hungary that might be worth a visit as well like this one; ozorafestival.eu
Or I also should mention Copenhagen Distortion And thats a real party bananza for almost a whole week. We have many foreign(korea, peru, japan, US, Can etc) volunteers from all over the world that gets a wrist band for their work. Here is a chance to get behind the scenes.

wasn’t there also a mysteryland in DK? I remember it was the other side of the kattegat (a place which always confused me as I thought it would be in NL, the name does indeed mean an opening so small only a cat could get through it) – which the Dutch then proceeded to send on a barge a giant Northern European style teddy bear (the kind which looks cute but still like a proper bear)
