Reading is around £150 I think… A lot I know. But it’s my friends that are the cheap ones, not me. :weee:

Glade would be £100 for me (student :groucho:). That and Reading is too much for one year. £50 + decent rugs seems like a good enough alternative for that year. If that goes well, maybe Glade next year. :love:

thats the thing hopefully most of these festivals will be around for a few years yet so there’s no need to fit them all in in one year. I do love going to as many as possible tho. dont really go on holiday that much at the moment so there a good alternative…

Dunno what to do. I kind of need to go to Reading even though the lineup will most probably be shite next year (Green Day supposedly headlining on Saturday… I mean COME ON). Bloom is so cheap but Shambala seems to be the one…

I’ll ask my mates about Bloom and if they can’t afford it I’ll consider Shambala. I haven’t even found out much about either actually, so I’m talking rubbish. Needs more research. :crazy_diz

Dude I lived in Reading for 25+ years of my life, at some points very close to the festival site and that festival is vastly overrated and overpriced

its in a tiny cow field in surrounded by a faceless middle england suburban area on one side and a sprawling aspiring inner city (with all its problems on another)

you’d be better off with Glade TBH especially if you prefer electronic dance music

Alright mate, I’d rather not be put off by you. Granted Green Day are shit, but there’s a lot more going on than the main stage.

GL, thanks as well, but its just something I want to go to once and next year is a perfect opportunity. It’s not just about the festival either – I’ll be seeing my sister who I won’t have seen in over a year by then.

Basically, fair enough you have your opinions, but, as politely as I can say this, I’d rather you kept them away from me. You know how if everyone goes into something thinking its shit it will ruin the atmosphere and become shit (self-fulfilling prophecy), I don’t want that to happen to me. Please? 😥

Bollocks to that – they were looking for trouble.

I hate that whole mentality, how people think that if they fight with the Polica they’re rebels or anti-authority… Bullshit… It achieves fuck all at the end of the day.
