Way ahead of you, finished the last of the DHC’s a couple of days before I made this thread. I know what you mean, I was starting to feel like without them I couldn’t function and they really fucked up my digestive system, sleeping pattern, cognitive faculties and what little libido I have. My next visit to the doctors, I will make sure I see MY GP, not the tit whom kept fobbing me off with DHC, as he knows me personally (his son was in my class in first and middle school), hopefully he can suggest a proper course of action, as I’ve had to put yoga on the back burner due to severely limited movement and serious pain.

I never thought the act of going to the toilet properly was so gratifying, hence the thread lol

Again it costs money but if you can find a decent masseuse or masseur to give you a stomach manipulating massage, that’ll clear you out for sure, Not a very common practice/technique though so qualified people can be hard to come by. But they essentially squeeze your intestine and gut externally and it loosens and breaks everything up internally. Quite an uncomfortable feeling though I have to say, certainly not a relaxing massage but if you can endure it the benefits are worth it. Plus a professional who can carry out stomach manipulations also probably has a trick or two to alleviate your back pain too. All comes down to money though. But if you’re genuinely in as much pain and discomfort as you say you are then I think the £40-50 this would cost for an hours session is more than a fair price.
