TBF the Psyentist would be too young to remember him; most his hits were over 25 years ago. A friend of mine played a tribute to him on the radio, this was the same week we had the bad tropo/atmospherics that cause a lot of interference (it put out Town 102 to just sssssssssss, ICR-FM was barely receivabe in the rural areas and the strongest BBC mast in the region was swamped by noise. I ended up sending a strong warnng to the station manger so he coudl be ready for the barrage of listener complaints.

But Frankie’s tribute set was left alone by the interferece; I’m not exactly religious but felt that “The Man Upstairs” did approve of this….
