if the coven is still open (I have no idea as not been to those ends for 5 years now) then they host dance music nights with links to free party crews. (it appears that it is but in a different location to the old place).
from 1992 to 2006 I lived in Reading, barely only 26 miles away from Oxford and there were loads of similar legal nights until 2006/07 as well as lots of free parties.
However by the time I left, the feds started cottoning on to the fact they were linked to the ketamine dealing and it was around this time a lot of young people went down with bad medical conditions (this started happening before it did in EA!) and so a lot of nights got refused licenses or venues and free parties have been clamped down on harder.
They still happen, but it wasn’t that long ago that muza would have even needed to make this post as there were that many events locally and well advertised…This whole sites history is interlinked with the party scene in Oxford, Reading and surrounding areas of SE England 😉
