Hey guys, pretty new to the free party scene attended a few round the bristol area with mates…good times indeed 🙂

However, I live in the midlands and would really like a heads up on the scene up here. Any hotline numbers? dates of parties would be fab. I have heard of a few round the shrewsbury area but am not in the ‘loop’ so to speak so have decided to get in the know.

Also, regularly go back home to wales in summer months n would love to know when there are any parties planned in teepee valley, in the carms area or roch/cardigan/pembrokeshire area…need a good stomp with ma sis.

As I said, ne hotline no’s would be greatly appreciated…pm me, if ya wanna sus me out am on facebook/myspace/bebo.

To be honest it’s not likely you are going to get any info no matter how sincere you sound. Best way is either to stick around here, or listen out for underground legal doos.

At legal nights you can meet the locals and get to make some new friends who might sort you out after getting to know them…

Even still though I’ve talked to suspect people at legal nights, bigger ones anyway.

Just make mates and enjoy yourself. Will come eventually.

I have probably said this about 200 times but I remember my first post here was asking the same thing. I didn’t really have many mates that went to parties, ended up going to a few on me own, now I’ve got plenty of mates and couldn’t get to all the parties if I tried.

Cheers for the advice…it is my exact situation up these parts nehow. Going on my own is an interesting prospect for sure, have knowledge of a few events from some peeps i have met at legal do’s which i defo plan to go to…so i will just try and get to know some peeps who are into my kinda thing. My problem is I usually get so sucked in by music that I tend to zone out n dance the night/morn away….although I do love a good random.

I thought this would be the response I got…at the end of the day i could be neone i suppose. Cheers tho

the midlands being a more economically deprived area than many has a lot of legal electronic dance music events. Its worth going along to some of these are if you make friends there they may well be able to point you in the direction of any free parties.

That said, if the local venues are tolerating 6am licenses and the security aren’t being overbearing; many crews will be happy with that rather than risk losing their equipment and even their liberty! but at least you will find something to do at weekends…

yeh i often go to legal dos round brum/wolves but often costs quite a bit which sucks 🙁 However, they are often worth it regardless…aquainted with a few of the organisers/crews through random smokes with them in quiet corners etc but as u say they are probs better off makin some cash n keepin their autonomy on the scene.

just wanna festi vibe outside the shitty city tho, im definately thinkin the prospect of sunny weather has spurred on these thoughts…hey ho, the festival season awaits 🙂
