is so fucking stupid!
we go to free parties to have a good time not to be destructive or pains in the arse’s!
yes drugs may be involved but if you are not sensible enough to handle them dont do them!
And im pretty sure everyone at a free party looks out for one another!
Everyone i have been to there seems to be a sense of community and awareness for others!
i know if someone needed my help i would help as much as possible!
and a message for the police : We are not harming you or anyone else, leave us be, because the more voilent and tough you get the more bad stuff will happen!
well thats my personal opinion!
the amount of Police resources used to attempt to stop raves (even legal ones) is wholly disproportionate; particularly as way more trouble happens at town centre venues..
a mate of mine got busted for a rave and he got held for the full 96 hours, yet you hear about people fighting in town and get let out on bail after a few hours….
and if “bad things happen” its not even because “ravers will riot” (this is very rare – a handful of occasions in 16+ years of these events and often exacerbated by cops’ overreaction) – but something more subtle than that.
For all their faults (minor issues regarding rubbish etc) well run and friendly raves provide a positive release of energy for young (and not so young) people in a turbulent world under a lot of pressure in their lives, and often leave them with a positive sense of community.
if raves are “stamped out” it will not miraculously reduce the demand for drugs. People will still do them but in unsuitable settings such as town centre pubs where the drugs will be consumed with large amounts of alcohol amongst hostile crowds and fights will increase.
This has already happened in areas where raves have been more closely restricted and is reflected in an increased level of crime and anti-social behaviour in most British town centres.
Hi , we used to have a number for a certain group in the sorta bedfordshire/oxfordshire area … this number used to give details to every party we went to. Now , theyve changed their number apparently , and im not sure what way to go about gettin their new one … im not asking for a number on here , just some ideas on how to get their new one ?
all i can suggest is going to legal parties and asking around or getting handed flyers or try and get in contact with the rig i guess.
If you’ve got other numbers go to some of their parties and get chatting to some people and im sure you’ll get it, if not cld always ask therig owners if they have it, coz a lot of the rigs obviously link-up so kno each otha
try askin any mates u mita made at their parties b4
or ask about at 1 of the legal nites in the same kinda area..
im sure ul get it!

Maybe this one ?????
Cheers angel……….
…
I don’t know what they’re up to. We don’t encourage this kind of thing and you certainly shouldn’t give out your number to someone you don’t know in person…
no its not that one, i had a pm today, its from another well known system. looks like a genuine way of getting their party details to the peeps but then as doc sez …………
Its not a secure or safe way of giving out numbers though – whilst we make sure people are friendly to one another on line theres nothing TBH stopping someone who hates raves – maybe not a cop but a landowner or journalist – registering here and just lurking (not contributing to any threads in order not to blow their cover)
If a crew is going around sending bulk PM’s to random people then these haters are gonna get the partyline as well – they could use it against the crew by grassing up the location – so its defeated the purpose of using the net for “greater security”
The best way is simply to give the number to about 20 of the crews closest friends whom you can trust – and they can tell tell their friends the number…
Word of mouth is always the best way.
Partylines change so often probably because the wrong people get hold of them.
Personally i’d rather have fewer people at a party and have no trouble to go with it!:crazy_diz

most people have only had broadband and easy net access since 2002.
Have people forgotten how partylines got exchanged before then?
