call me a optomist but

my definition of true freedom is:

being able to do what one wants as long as it does not infringe upon another person

libertarian socially, i guess (economically my views are VERY different, as i believe in so many humanitarian and socialist aspects)

but socially i mean

we all complain about laws, and police

but under that definition, i cant honestly say, i’m pretty much free, i can take drugs, smoke, drink, laugh, party

i know theoretically its against the law, i am not supposed to do certain things, but in reality very rarely is it stopped

we aint that bad are we

dont think im gettin apathetic though, i’m very active in stopping powers that would make stopping these things easier!

i dont know what the point of this post is

im very drunk

no that was a song written by these 2 songwriters but roger miller first performed it, but the version everyone knows is by janis joplin

seriously though I still think for all this nations faults it is still a free nation

think of all the stuff we get away with posting on here, in full view of the cops, media and people who don’t agree with us.. as well as the many years of parties – the cops could have locked down all of East Anglia and SE England years ago but let things carry on for a fair while..

the recent times when freedom has been restricted in this country are perhaps because our freedom was gained at the expense of others..

I think we have to really actively pursue our freedoms to their maximum and really activley stand up for them and againts those who would like to push them back…im so shocked by the detention without charge for 42 days that got passed yesterday, when you compare that law to what all the outher EU countries or the US has it really a long way out of sink with them. I think the govt acts in our interests less and less every day and im increasingly struggling to recognise its legitimacy if continues in this direction.

Thats my rant over for today!
