The observations and forecasts are updated hourly
Forecasts on BBC (despite being sourced from met office) are often out of date and thus inaccurate.
There are also a lot of duff British weather forecasts from foreign (usually American) sources which are just rubbish, but get relayed to local newspapers websites.
Incidentally the nasty band of cloud predicted for this weekend even as of yesterday has mostly dispersed and the barometer was higher than expected this morning – there may be some rain but less than we all feared and it should be “slightly” warmer.
