Takeo (who is a national hero in both JP and DE) who learnt to yodel after listening to European radio on short wave in the 1970s.
He has been yodelling in Europe since the 1980s (including successfully proposing to a Mädel from Bavaria (on the border area with AT)) – they are still happily married and have 5 children…

I think the lyrics (in Bavarian dialect which foxes even native German speakers although just about understandable if mentally translated into Dutch) mean
– he was trying to catch his free range chicken in the woods which kept running away; then it ran into his house (log cabin or whatever they live in there) jumped up on to the stove and burned its arse.
So he has to go into the town and buy another one 😀
