My shift work left me with 3 days of free time, not much money and a whole lotta boredom. So i tried Nutmeg. Id read about the possible hallucinogenic properties of it, and i thought id give it a go just to know that i had.
Some online reports said fresh whole nutmegs, some said to use the ready powdered version which is what i opted for, mainly because i aready had it in the spice rack!
You are meant to take( according to other accounts) around 15g of the stuff, which sounds simple. I tried a simple place on spoon and drink some juice, but it was rather shit tasting so i decided to ‘bomb’ the stuff.
I had no papers so i used toilet paper.
I dunked the Bomb into water then swallowed. I did about 7/8 of these, they arent the most pleasant things to swallow and one broke causing a coughing fit. I reckon i did somwhere between 9-12g of the stuff.
+4 hours since ingesting, 12.00 midnight
No effects at all, started to think it didnt do anything/took to little but thought i would just leave it as i didnt fancy bothering with any more Nutmeg bombs.
+6 1/2 hours since ingesting, 2.30 am
Just about to go to bed when the effects kick in.
My body is tingling all over and really sensitive to any touch, a more heightened version of something that happens when i smoke weed. The whole thing feels like im high, i feel lethargic and have a massive smile across my face. Every symptom was just like that id get from Weed until i started to drift off. My inner eye lid visuals were extremely detailed and in bold colours. Usually i might see a shape or silhouette but these were full on cartoon detail visuals.
I fear i may have slept through the best part, not taken enough for a real trip, BUT i would reccomend it to be tried because for that period it did kick in i was like a kid in Toys’r’us, i couldnt stop smiling and laughing at my own thoughts!
