I avoided that because it was inaccurate. I said that legal gun ownership is quite safe and you attempted to convolute my statement into something that pointed to high school shootings. Those were not examples of legal gun ownership. In the cases for which I am familiar, the shooters used guns that they had stolen – ergo, those guns were illegally obtained.

I have to be totally honest here and this will not be met with ANY support, but in the spirit of full disclosure I am compelled to share. The world needs certain things to keep the population balanced. We need war, and mass murder, and incurable disease. All of these things are needed to keep things in balance. That is not saying that these things are nice, but they are necessary. Without war, there can be no peace. Without threat, there can be no safety.

If you are the kind of person who is capable of standing idly by while someone rapes, pillages and burns your village, that is where we are different. If I saw someone breaking into my neighbors home to steal the things that he worked hard to provide for his family, I would not hesitate to take steps to stop the crime. If those steps included ending the life of the person who has placed his wants above the rights of others, then so be it.

Define “party”. If you mean do I have the occasional indulgence in the compnay of friends then yes. If you mean do I go out to all night raves and take E and meth and dance all night… not in many years have I done that.

I have been exposed to a wide range of substances both natural and man-made. Some were interesting in terms of experience, some were pleasant and some were unpleasant. Speed and weed were never really enjoyable. Coke was nice… maybe too nice. EvEryonE should take E at least once. Shrooms have their place in society and should NOT be illegal. LSD is good, but a little too sharp edged most times. It has, however, caused me to gain the ability to laugh at things that I never saw as humorous.

If by asking your question you were implying that I do not have an adequate depth of experience, I beg to differ. I have been round the block more than once.

I have been having it prescribed since September 2010. I take 9g a night. I guess that means I have had some ~1650g prescribed so far.

It is ridiculously expensive. Xyrem (GHB) costs over $11 per gram or about 7 quid. They make it so costly for a number of reasons. One, is to make a shit load of profit and two, to prevent it from being diverted into the streets. I am fortunate that my insurance pays well so I only have to pay about $75 per month out of pocket.
