you can get a BC reissued. CRB won’t accept new ones tho.
P60 and a tax statement, plus proof of address is valid ID (to open a bank account) if you don’t have photo ID
i never picked up my exam certs either. your school, if it’s still there (you old fart :groucho: ) is unlikely to have kept them. they might have records of which examining boards you were under. the examining boards probably won’t exist anymore as they have been reorganised several times since you were a boy 😉 you lost them in a move some years ago.
if the company wants you and you have good references, they will be prepared to wait while duplicates are found
if they stick in the mud on any of the above, they are aresholes and you don’t want to work for them. definately warn them about your lack of paper before the interview though, and have a quick simple explanation for the lackof each document on the tip of your tongue for on the day
