Next time ur in a reflective frame of mind, have a listen to this one:

Sasha And John Digweed* – Northern Exposure 2 Eastcoast Edition (CD) at Discogs

Now its not perfect, for instance the intro is too soulful and also the Geomantic song is imo wrong in the overall context and mood of the mix, but from then on it really is a striking piece of electronic music.

I was thinking psychedelic in the sense of the mix evoking thoughts (the sasha sets really more than the digweed sets), in the above case of an icy northern place, it really does take me there. Something subliminal and unusually clever about this mix.
