i just realised i put the vid in the wrong thread :/

oh well, the politicians can now be blessed by the sound of afx

I’m getting bored with this shit now. They need to hurry up and decide.

Personally I don’t want Labour in charge any more. unlike most people I remember the expenses scandal. The illegal wars, the betrayal of our Armed forces and other issues which I can’t be arsed to go into. Many people are quick to forget these things it seems .

I voted Lib Dems but I don’t trust Labour at all. They were shit in the 70s and they’re shit now and need to go. If a Lib Lab deal goes ahead I can’t see any good coming from it. Labour promise alot of shit but nearly always fail to deliver.

I know I said in another post people are stuck in the past but fuck it, So many people moaning about the Tories and their past I think they need reminding that Labour ain’t any better.

Britain as a whole was shit in the 1970s, all 3 parties not just Labour (I was around then, and wouldn’t want to see a return to that time!) The unions then were different to today, some were actually very racist and were being infiltrated by the National Front (a more violent version of the BNP which is still around in some area). The whole bloody country has been on the fiddle for the last 30 years, everyone trying to rip each other off and foreign countries for short term gain but there was cheap oil and in more recent times the dot com boom and other financial bubbles.

now these are over and bleak times lie ahead no matter who gete elected (which is why there was no overall majority in the first place).

Politics as a whole is pretty shit isn’t it. I don’t think someone could be 100% happy with a standing government. They’ll always be something going on that we don’t agree with.

I’d love to be able to not care about it all but I can’t seem able to switch my mind off from it.

Who’d be a politician eh (nod to 1984)

perhaps what happens in Malaysia and Singapore (where all the politicians are usually from one party only but are selected from different racial and cultural groups) isn’t such a bad idea after all! its worked since 1957..

if you look at the current labour and conservative parties there isn’t that much difference between them and they regularly “steal” each others policies, for instance far from being “socialist”, Labour has privatised loads of public sector jobs..
