I just found out about this and well want to give it a go lol!
There’s several definitions of it. The two that are interesting are the “Gardening on other people waste land/public land” and the follwing picture’s will explain the other type lol …
:laugh_at:
my gf is doing some of that this weekend in Hull – great idea…and a city that badly needs some beautification!
I’d be into doing something like this. Might do it around here. Give people something to talk about! raaa
an old Chinese dude down my street (could easily pass for my grandad :laugh_at:) does this where there is some “no mans land” I think the Council are responsible for but which is near his garden. He used to work for British Telecom at the research centre but retired and is always doing DIY or some work in his garden.
he doesn’t make a big thing about it, but quietly adds random flowers to the verges. The Council of course think that another Council person has done this, and that they are supposed to be there, and don’t notice anythign odd..
Brilliant idea, I’ve only just heard about this too, word should be spread
i might have mentioned it before but i cant be arsed to read…….i saw gorilla gardening on current tv ages ago, some bloke from canada, he can over to england and ‘torrorized’ waste land in london lol
