Warning: If You Troll A Professional Boxer On Twitter, He Might Show Up At Your House
So we’ve all learned a valuable lesson: Don’t ever assume that the internet guarantees anonymity, and don’t ever troll a guy who makes his living by punching people in the face.
Curtis Woodhouse is a top bloke man, ex-pro footballer, now pro-boxer and obviously a pretty savvy user of the internet! Not read the link to the story, but have seen other reports of it and loved hearing he’d tweeted a picture of the troll’s street sign, would have been ace to see the troll’s face when he saw that tweet!
I think too many people think what they do on the net does not have real life consequences. It is quite strange that they expect to get away with what would in any other context constitute criminal harrassment.
second strip seems apt here (if you don’t understand Dutch you can at least look at the pictures) 😉
(the big dude says “a fisherman eh? I am a boxer..”)
