Braids with synthetic hair aren’t that bad for itchyness of the scalp and maintenance of them is pretty easy.

Wool wraps though can get really itchy after a while though. I’ve tended to have them in for about a month before taking them out.

unfortunately Phaedra joined in 2006 and hasn’t been on since. We do have a problem with people joining up here, not making a sale quickly enough and therefore not bothering to check the site.

It might be worth sticking around though – there are plenty of young ladies here with braids/dreads etc from SE England/London who might be able to suggest someone..

those are very old posts. Not sure whether either of the girls are still doing this, the young woman from Suffolk was a friends partner but they split up just after I stopped regularly going to unlicensed raves and I’ve not seen her or many of her group of friends since, in any case one of the other girls from the Suffolk crew became a mum and moved away with her partner and the kid.

Its a long shot but maybe ask on Tribal-Living as there are more folk from SW England on that forum who are into “hippy/alternative” type things and may know, there may be other stuff you are interested in on trhere.
