I think area 51 do some legal events but they don’t advertise them that widely. Can understand this as the cops get a bit funny sometimes and if you put a legal event on here they visit the venue managers and go on about drugs and links with illegal raves and that they will check the license more closely etc to try and stop the event going on :yakk:

they used to do that to my mates back in the day but the feds got so much more kit now (even then in 1991/2 they had on board computers and all sorts) and there are cameras on every street corner
there are times I wish we could turn back the clock but people my age didn’t overdo it as much as thats whats led to the backlash round your / our way (although I’ve only lived in East Anglia for 2 years)
