this is normal for this region. Only a few months ago I posted a crime report of some burglars nicked what were old enough to be my grandparents who had amongst their haul nicked two old style gramophones, and Norfolk Constabulary actually have “driving lessons” in warehouses for mobility scooters as too many old folk have crashed them and hurt others (often of their own age group). No kidding, I saw it on their news site when looking for the latest “rave warning” press releases, and here in Suffolk a 90 year old woman was knocked down and killed by a 75 year old man what wasn’t looking properly on the road…

Welcome to PV 🙂
I feel a bit sorry for you as your young and the current problems are not your fault (they have been caused by older folk including my generation) but there are far less parties in this region now, they cannot be openly discussed here like 10 years ago and those what do happen in the Bedfordshire are are busted hard as they have been linked with serious organised crime and violent incidents – people bring their personal beef to parties (which they never used to).
There might be one and if you stick around here and can prove you are a raver and not a fed or journo you might get lucky.
However, there is every chance it may be stopped and you might face a unpleasant encounter with the local constabulary – if you drive your car and passengers might be searched, you will be busted for any drugs found there, and if there is any motoring offence you may have committed you could get points and/or even lose your license.
All this has happened to friends of mine over the years – there was a time when feds left raves alone a bit more but that time is over.
To avoid this, don’t be bait if feds turn up, don’t argue with them or let you mates do so. Get out quickly and quietly, and hide up anything you have what you “shouldn’t”.
I am not expecting you to have the values or “maturity” of a man 20 years your senior who is lucky enough to have a good career and prospects these days so doesn’t take the risks he did as a teenager (if anything I was worse than a lot of you at that age) – and you do get given a couple of chances as a youth even if you make mistakes – but just pointing out the potential risks and the current backlash against raves and why people are cagey about just handing out info.
Many senior detectives as well as many journalists are my age too and grew up seeing what raves and drugs did to some areas. I might disagree with some of their actions and tactics but I’ve also seen the impact myself and can understand why things are like they are today..

id love to be a fly on the wall at that ware house!
there was a picture of it on the feds website. I’m not going to link it here for technical/security reasons.
It was a combiation of a kiddies cycling proficiency test with traffic cones etc or the bit they have for motorbikes and large lorries what you do at the DVLA test centre. Its not so bad an idea as some old folk do drive these things badly, also a lot of blokes here were in the RAF or other branches of HM Forces where they learned about electronics and mod their scooters to go beyond 8mph, some as fast as 15mph as the controllers are made for global use where there are different speed limits.

lol
One old boy in Reading had done it. This was before I had the ebike and I had to pedal hard to keep up with him – he was cruising uphill on the pavement of on one of the two main bridges across the Thames and I was on the road alongside him.
I did however have on my push bike a cateye LCD speed display calibrated against a GPS so I know the speed I am riding at is accurate (this was the time when I was cycling to squat raves and ridgeway ones, which was perfect cover as loads of other folk were riding them routes), it was definitely over 15mph before I passed him..
I’m not sure what this thread has turned into . However I see where you’re coming from about it being my first post n all. I guess i’ll stick around here for a while, and also keep my ears open around my area :’)

If anyone could pm if they hear anything it’d be greatly appreciated raaa
