In london there is too much choice and im finding it a struggle.
So many good and bad points for the big parties, tell me which you are going to, and help me solve this conundrum!
1) Shindig: Got locked off last NYE and they havnt done a party since, will the police target this heavyweight high production team? Also the que was awful…then again thats always a problem with big parties!
Last halloweens party of theirs was excellent and holds significance to me as it was the second time I met my, now, girlfriend, and it was what started our friendship, so it would be nice to revisit it 🙂
2.) Zombie stomp. I distinctly remember lots of negative comments about their NYE event. I worry there will be trouble there.
But the line up is blinding me: blackmarket nanci & phoebe ragga twins EZ ROLLERS BOI!! cabin fever 4thepeoplebythepeople
all shindig has got are the usual free party suspects, plus benny page and…urg…”firefarm”
3.) Scum. Not my usual scene, but 20 rigs, cheap all night entry and little queing, it makes it tempting dosnt it. Mostly techno tek all the ‘ard stuff, so not usual to my fluffy vibes but NYE building was amazing to explore, if you were there you will know what im getting at
Cant go to a psy party as I want to be with my friends and they like a mix of shhtuf
Go to zombie stomp if you like the male to female ratio being 4:1 , getting mugged and public displays of coitus.
Im not going out halloween but I am going out with a few guys on here on the 18th…come along ? (no parties set in stone then)
what about lucid city…they have a mix. ?
I know zombie stomp will be ‘orrible beyond belife buuut that liiine up what is ez rollers doing there?!
Lucid city looks to have a full room for reggea dub  thats not something you see every day at a free party.
I hope to get a group on it, esspec as going to saturday raves atm are tricky as the gf works late. If so I will defiantly let people on here know.
landaaaan acid city
I heard everyone is too depressed to go out on account of SR getting shut down.
LOLCANO

Whaaaat. Man some psy parties are so expensive.
Lucid City & Chaotic waves & Kings Hifi is ten before midnight, fifteen after, just encase you were interested.
But ofc will be a completely different party to universal groovy; that psy line up looks lush.
yeah I did consider it but I think we have our heart set on psy. HAve you been to any lucid city parties before?
most of the 20 quid must go to paying the poor blighters who must now be in their 30s have to stand on the door all night and risk (once again) being stabbed/shot with no backup other than a bunch of sketchy ravers, when they have already done that once before in their teens/20s but at least with their country’s army behind them..

thats about normal for any music event in London or a big city nowadays. Even in the “good times” of the 1990s a mate of mine was a well respected drum and bass / UK garage producer but as soon as he became a dad stopped doing all live performances as there was that much risk of being hurt/killed out of sheer envy or just some idiot discharging a pistol randomly into the air (bullets often ricochet off the roof and come down with much the same velocity they went up). He may well have quit the music scene in the end and returned to his day job in a bank, at least they have better bullet proof glass there..
