Thats a real shame to hear you didn’t have a good one USE. I saw nervy beats on thurs at the Volks, and he said you’d gone home early- too pissed!
It was my 22nd on fri, and I did have a mental time of it. I started off at 6pm with a bottle of Vodka, went to see Mr Scruff with all my flatmates, and ended back at home at 7am after 1/4 g md, and £50 worth of JD! Then loads of my mates from suffolk came down, and we went to see Top Cat/ Tenor fly at the Volks, which meant another 1/4 g and plenty of alcohol. I embarressed myself by having a go at them for playing DnB! (well… it was a JUNGLE night!) I eventually got thrown out of the Ocean rooms at 10am on sun for being ‘high as a kite’! (which was kinda true)
To be honest I kinda deserved it for helping myself to 4 or 5 free pints!
I’ve recently had a phone call from the bank saying i’ve got no money to pay my rent, credit card, or flexiloan bills, and owe them a total of £8,000 (which brings the grand total of debt to £20,000 if we include loans!) I’ve been living on bacon sandwiches for 4 days!
On top of this I’ve got 1,500 words to write by midday tomorrow on endangered frogs in Australia (prob why I’m telling you all this) Then 10,000 by next tues, when I have to give a presentation on my dissertation, which for some reason has decided to totally fuck up and give me impossible results! (the concentrations of Arsenic went up! FFS!)
So you see, lifes not all that bad. It’s what you make of it. I’m not all that worried, it’ll sort itself out.
To be honest, the best thing I ever did was give up green. I’m pretty sure thats the reason for most of my mates depressions. I’ve been happy as a pig in shit since I gave up the weed 2 years ago, as anybody who’s ever met me will know.
I’m not sure what the point of this post is! All I can say is don’t be depressed USE! Springs just around the corner, and there’s going to be a whole lot of wicked stuff happening this summer……………………..
