People why do you focus on this sort of stuff ?

Well i see where you are coming from, but i think its just human nature to be honest, there is a certain inquisitivness that draws people to watch this sort of thing, hence rubber neckers at the scene of a traffic accident. Its not the accident that slows the cars down half the time its people slowing down so they can get a good long gory look. Bit twisted i know but hey thats just the way it is.

Seen this before, still makes me cringe every time.

Surely that bloke was seriously injured, if not dead, he hit that car pretty hard

I was caught in a five-mile tailback on the way to work recently, with speeds down to 20-30 mph. After a while I could see a bunch of blue lights in the distance so I figured there had been an accident. When I got nearer though, I could see that the accident had occurred on the other carriageway, and the delays were entirely due to people slowing down to gawp at the wreckage.
