That’s a start. Just keep displacing away from the smokes, cut down the smokes , and gradually build up your stamina so you can stay on a dancefloor for 3 hours on fresh air alone.

Using benzos (valium, Xanax, clonazepam etc. etc.) to alleviate and stimulant induced comedown is quite safe and normal. I’m sure most people who like stimulants have used benzos at some point to take the edge off a comedown. What you shouldn’t do (especially as you have a dicky ticker right now) is mix the two together at the same time.

I’d say just drop a single 10mg tab of valium, sit back and enjoy a mellow buzz. It’ll be tempting to grab a beer or have a spliff but I would avoid both of these in your situation. Just go easy on the valium though because they can be very moreish. Too many and you’ll forget what the hell happened, especially if you do have any booze too.

I’d defo avoid mdma until you’re sure your heart has recovered, not worth a 6-10 hour buzz at the risk of an eternal sleep. It’s not like you could take the two together and get the md buzz with a lowered heart rate, your heart won’t know what to do and you’ll end up with palpitations or worse cardiac arrest.
