Still here, been very busy lately with work, travel, starting school and moving to a new place.
I have received the things I ordered from various sites and will bring an update once I settle down in my new apartment 🙂
Amongst the things I purchased is 3 white sweathers (its cold here), another t-shirt, crystal poi with handles, couch web belt, disco laser gadget, uv shoe laces and some other things I cant remember.
Im traveling to london in late may, I might ask you later about good places to go out with my friends 🙂
Spazhazzard, Im totally with you. I have talked about this very subject with my sister a million times. She critizes me for wearing ugly clothes and listening to crap music, not realizing some things are a matter of taste and not quality. For some it matters more what others like and they force themselves to like what others like in order to fit in, common for her age.
The word cool can be another word for popular/mainstream, the word is used that way by youths who find it important to be accepted and fit in. They will fit in with more people by doing what mostly everyone else is doing, liking the music mostly everyone else likes and so forth. They often look at others reactions before they form their own opinion as their opinion mirrors that of everyone elses (the mainstream opinion).
I did not mean to ask anyone here to tell me what to wear, I wanted different people to suggest different things so I could see if I liked any of it.
The main reason I purchased club clothes is Im bored of dressing up like Im applying for a job whenever I go out – thats the common social accepted standard over here.
My job is lame sometimes and writing is therapeutic for me, please forgive me for writing all this nonsense 🙂
By the way, regarding you comment to give a fuck on what other thinks.. I mostly agree with it but there are exceptions, sometimes you should or must conform and fit in. Im sure you agree since its quite obvious, you dont wear led tshirts to a funeral and when working you might need to wear a uniform and so on. But for when you have the option to wear what you want then you really should wear what you wanted to wear, not what others wants you to.
Agent 15, You are right – theres not nearly enough bling on the picture. But the picture doesnt show UV facepaint (whiskers!), pocket size laser show gadget and a pair of poi with handles from flowtoys with a total of 8 led lights. UV hair seems fun but the ones Ive seen are meant for use with long hair.
