i pretty much got told chances are i’m gonna be a smackhead now just because i didn’t stick to the view that Heroin is pure evil and nothing more.

Its ridiculous how different the attitude to smack is in other parts of the world, especially the states. Its seems like they dont have this evil stigma attached to it. Im only making this observations on how I see Americans talk about smack online.

I know… i can actually get more than ‘you’re going down the pan to smack cos i know some people who have and you seem different’ which is quite amazing for the yanks.

heroin addicts can function and have a “noramal” life if they get their fix everyday and can afford it though unfortunately most do not which is why heroin has this stigma, it dosent fuck ur brain up as much as stims psychosis wise, a 5 day meph bender would have your head wrecked more than a 5 day brown bender! its just the addiction part of heroin tho i have no idea what heroin addiction is like compared to methamph addiction which tbh sounds like a much worse problem in america, people scratching themselves so much their skin comes off and stuff, plus crystal meth is a dirty drug boiled up most likely in some caravan somewhere, glad it never made its way over here

this is a poor excuse if it is one for a group of people being less judgmental on a subject.

as for the UK i’ve seen many fucked up amphet addicts/crack addicts and the newest one… mephedrone addiction.

You know what i think this super anti UK Heroin message/talk people give is counterproductive. What it does is push anyone who chooses to use Heroin away from all non-Heroin using people and puts them with all the people using who all feed off each other and do more of it.

You think just saying to someone who clearly stated in the first place they know all the little stories and evil words people will say so don’t say it is gonna help me or anyone else? It’s incredibly patronising and just takes the piss out of me to be honest. I was in a very very bad mood the next day when people started replying and maybe i did get overly pissed off but still i would’ve been pissed off with the posts the same but reacted better.

Thanks for all your concerns to the people i actually know properly on here (quite a few of you) but a couple of people who don’t even know me have just taken the piss IMO.

Anyway it’s all cool with me I couldn’t care too much, Smacks not the one… it’s all about the <3 addiction.

this is because heroin / opiates can act as an (effective) anti psychotic, and alot of people are actually are self medicating (ie, if schizophrenic) by using,

and can become psychotic and very unwell (mentally) when detoxing and needing a full review of their mental health and medicine review,

and this is always taken in to consideration when people with mental health diagnosis are detoxed,

and from what I have read on chrystal meph – this can cause very bad psychosis and mental health problems

hello,poly,im a new member just joined to make a comment or 2,please do not slate me for putting my point across on your thread..

as this is the whole point of opening up threads on forums,so people can add their opinions,so you have opened this thread in the knowledge that it would get a response.

obviously you are not that naive to expect,that other people who used heroin for a lot longer than you have,will have stories that will haunt you,and even offend you..
i personally have used heroin for 17 years,but know God willing have been clean 11 years.

the stereotype heroin addict portrayed worlwide is in fact true,so if you have that image of a junkie[heroin] then that is it.

as you say,by your own admission that you have only dabbled in it for 2 weeks,then yes it is you will not be addicted,unless you have found an alternative,also may add,there is no such alternative….yep no alternative for the old brown sugar..
but you kill its cravings …but its costly…ie,,crack,ket,,,,how expensive are those….and when you cannot afford them…its back to the ever faithful brown…THE KING OF DRUGS…or should i say queen…this drug has a brain of its own,,,at first it will play coy,innocent,even naive,to your wants,teasing you with every line,thinking wow…1 line…and feeling great….wow 2 lines and gouching…before you know it youve done a bag,feel great….your a master youve conquerd heroin..like no other person..you can enjoy this drug…you can control this drug..so you carry on…for the firs 2 weeks its great,the addiction has not set in..it wont…not yet…heroin is to clever for that…its in it for long haul…..
so your bag can last you all day..because the tolerance is low..yet…but like you said you packed it in after 2 weeks…
so you are right you would not be addicted..not to heroin anyway…

so to point out what happens after 2 weeks to you,would be offfensive to you,as you have not experienced that part,
and you would end up calling me names for talking jibberish..

but to all that have used the substance for a long time will tell you,the next,then the next,then the next stage…
and all the way til the end ..thats when the curtain comes….down..

although in my experience,if you do not inject,you run a good chance of taking heroin moderatley for a long time..
but your company of people will never be that great,mostly your company will be you.
