In the 90s I always miraculously became “IC1” on the stop and search record sheets (when TVP and metpol started trying to stop racial profiling) although I must have had every IC code on my intelligence file other than the correct one (IC5) which is probably why it (and even two cautions for drugs) got struck out :laugh_at:
I have briefly worked in public service and it is fucking obvious why ethnic miniorities are underrepresented; not only are all the services dominated by Oxbridge public school types they have a habit of making the brown skinned folk who do join up work in all the high pressure high conflict frontline positions where they are often at risk of physical danger and/or being stitched up by their own side too..
