reminds me of when the dalai lama walked into that pizza shop
I was actually behind him in the queue funnily enough, turns out he’s going a bit senile. When he was asked if he wanted it cut into 4 slices or 8, he said ‘Only 4 please, I don’t think I could manage 8’!
Dalai lama orders a £5 pizza pays with a £10 bill
Dalai Lama waits for his change but the change never comes
Dalai Lama says:
“HEY! where is my change?”
and the waiter says:
“Change must come from within”

I once saw an alpaca working at the cold meat counter in Tesco, not everyday you get to see the deli llama!
The seven main characters represent the seven deadly sins.
my nan went to see the dalai lama 10 years ago and she went in some cheap fish n chip shop to buy food and the dalai lama actually came in that exact chip shop to buy food and she spoke to him.

He is not vegan, but at various points in his life was vegetarian. After suffering serious ill health in India he was advised to eat meat and fish again on alternate days by his doctors, although he tries to reduce his consumption of meat.
there is a lot of fuss amongst yoghurt weavers about this but he is old enough to be my dad and has been chased around most of Asia by Chinese feds for half a century, which would take a toll on anyones health.
British fish and chip shops are seen as something exotic in Asia but with cultural links to the continent so it would be normal for someone like him to visit the local chippy.

They’re pretty exotic in Britain compared to say, the native kebab shop. (Doner kebab was a UK industrial invention, believe it or not).
