  • What blend and how do you prepare it and what do you have it with?

Personally for breakfast I like to have some green tea. I boil a little more water than I need so I can run it over the tea to “wash” it as this removes bitterness. Then I wait for the water to cool down a bit (between 92-80 degrees) and then let it brew for about 3 minutes.

I add a little brown sugar to sweeten it a little bit.

    Mmmm teaaaaaaa.

    MMmmm green tea ftw!

i will have a red bush rooibos tea, 1/2 – 1 teaspoon of sugar before waters added. i brew depending on patience level, sometimes tea must be consumed fast. or sometimes i leave the bag in. same goes with regular tea which would be a nice yorkshire tea, not too much milk. stir about 10-15 times clockwise then 5 times anti clockwise. never put milk before hand im no pre-lactarian. unless its coffee then milk should always be added before hand so the coffee doesn’t burn.

During the day, I prefer Typhoo, as it comes ( Black, no milk or sugar )

In the evening, Twinnings Green Tea, again as it comes ( nothing added )

Dont like it stewed, but has to be dark enough so you cant see through it………… now go make me one

BTW there is NO such thing as fruit tea, it’s just hot squash : P

I quite like the Twining’s Orange & Lotus Flower green tea. That I have as it comes and it is delicious.

Here in Brazil my dad’s got these jar of Japanese green tea he got at an oriental shop (lots of Japanese live here) so I’m currently sipping on that.

Do like a bit of earl grey in the afternoons.

I like my tea jail style as it’s referred to here in Scotland (very dark, skimp on the milk)
A normal teabga, i like tetley but it doesn’t matter greatly, 2 sugars and a dash of milk, leave the teabag in until it’s quite dark (add a lump of speed if i’m heading down that road :crazy_fre )

When i’m sick i have echinicea teabags for that.

    I don’t like tea.

Not really a tea drinker, but for those that are, enjoy:

Twining’s all the way, you can take all your other peasant brands and get lost.

Lady Grey, Ceylon or Assam are my choice. 2 sugars and a few drops of semi-skimmed milk.

Lady and Assam leave to brew for 2-3 minutes before adding milk, Ceylon 4-6 minutes.

    Tea making is a craft.

I like ‘lady grey’ tea and peppermint teas.
I normally sweeten with honey not sugar.

Fruit teas to me always smell awesome, and then taste really bland.
    Very deceptive.

    I don’t drink tea.

Do enjoy a coffee though, but not to often anymore.

Yorkshire tea, just a dash of milk, half a teaspoon of sugar, let it stew until it’s a strong as it will get and then serve.

Statements like that will get your passport revoked

Well it depends really. If I am at my mums I have no sugar cos my mum would be angry if she knew i was having sugar in my tea. But when i’m at home I have one sugar.
