Hi,

I seem to be getting offered diazepam by every man and his dog at the moment, how illegal is this stuff? i have used it when on prescription after a neck injury and found myself with anxiety issues after coming off so turned to the non prescription dealers, which was easier than getting it from a doctor! But the question i ask is how illegal is it for me to buy it like i am? am i the one that will get in trouble or is the dealer the most at risk?

They are class C substances. It is illegal to buy them and possess them but penalties for possession of small quantities of all controlled drugs in the UK are now relatively minor. The greater risk is to the dealer, but a criminal record for drugs can affect employment prospects or even how you are viewed in a voluntary organisation where CRB declaration is obligatory.

Though addiction is far more of a risk to you long term than being nicked…

i thought the penalties would be less than an class C, as it seem so many people are selling them.

First off why do you want to buy some potentially dodgy street valium when the legit prescription stuff made you anxious when coming off it. Surely this will only happen again with long term use?! And to answer your question, if caught in possession both you and dealer are in do do. If you’re caught don’t think pointing the finger in the dealers direction will get you off the hook, it may help but I highly doubt you’d get off Scot free. If you do consider that option it’s worth remembering that you may acquire some enemies following this route. Your choice.

May want to consider buying some etizolam (available online), pretty much exactly same effect and properties as valium but from a different family of drugs hence it’s not as restricted as other benzodiazepines

i dont get much i only use it when i need it im not constantly walking around like a zombie, and take far less than when i was prescribed. Its not dodgy street valium or all reputable pharmacy stuff and have never had a problem with it, a lot of the stuff is the same brands that the doctor used to give me. i have not heard of etizolam, will google it, cheers!

if he is being suddenly offered valium everywhere it makes you wonder if its etizolam anyway as its so cheap and easy to get.

Side note: Valiums half life is around 100 hours, eitzolam closer to 8. If you drive that is of real significance.

They have similar effects profiles. Using either for long term anxiety issues is highly inadvisable for so many reasons I cannot be bothered to list them. Go and speak to a Doctor.

Etizolam is much stronger than valium! I need around 80mg minimam for a decent chill on vals and maybe 5-6mg of etizolam will usually put me on my arse. If I ate 80mg of etizolam I’m pretty sure I’d be in a coma.

as said 1mg of Etizolam is roughly aprox to 10mg diaz.

Totally the opposite for me. Etizolam does fuck all compared to Valium. If you have good quality valium, it is far superior to Etizolam IME. The Valium ive had latley has been WW and msj’s, both probably black market valium. Valium is cheaper than Etizolam too.
