Wouldn’t the Police use threads like this to gain intelligence on tactics used by weed heads to get free prescription weed?

Well, if you want to be paranoid enough to believe that cops really have nothing better to do than bust pathetic people, then I wonder where your paranoia comes from.

Like I said, it’s about medical necessity. PROVABLE, with documents, in court, level of medical necessity. Not about “I need weed because I need to feel high”.

And by the way, harassment of people who are ill is a criminal offence. Actually, harassment is a criminal offence, full stop.

Still, you need to use an Alternate Ego login and keep your own “privacy” (which is a very out od date concept as far as the cops are concerned) then you are of course free to keep your vision of reality, that is your choice.

Just makes people like me laugh. 🙂

I tried and failed. Seems you have to have be genuinely ill to qualify.

I have already said, a GP cannot prescribe. Only a pain consultant. You accuse me of not reading your posts and then don’t read mine properly???

Then what the fuck are you posting in a cannabis thread for?

Well, weed is a plant. Not a chemical. I don’t get it on prescription because I don’t qualify under pain treatment guidelines. I am not dependent on the stuff but without some form of palliative every 4 weeks there’s a very good chance I will contract glaucoma and go permanently blind. Yes I can prove that legally in a court.

As you wish. However, should you encounter someone with a genuine medical condition, you will be in a better position to give them good info. 🙂

do you have diabetes pat ,i suffer from a really bad back ,i am on 8 tramadol a day plus various ther meds for various things ,and the only thing that makes my back pain almost bearable is smoking weed ,i have told my gp that i smoke it to reduce the pain in my back, he was talking about putting me on a morphine based drug for the pain ,i would rather he prescribed medical grade weed as it wouldnot be as bad as a morphine based drug

Not that I am aware of, but technically any pain consultant CAN prescribe it. It depends on whether they see it as a viable option. Which is why threatening them with the big stick of malpractice can actually be a viable option, if only for patients to TRY it and see if the stuff is effective at their particular condition. I’m pretty sure Mansfield is one such place, but I’ll ask around and see if there’s a definitive list of pain clinics. It might also depend on whether a given health authority has it on their list of suitable precriptions, but as far as I am aware, the national decision making on that is down to NICE – National Institute for Clinical Excellence. Here’s what I gather is the lastest update on that procedure;-

    Multiple sclerosis – sativex [ID387]

Also, a document on results of trials with MS patients who whom other spasticity treatments had proved ineffective;-

I didn’t know you thought of yourself as a pathetic person, the sage will help you find inner peace!

Also I’m not para at all, in fact I have what is called pronoia which is amazing. The truth is the Police do monitor this site and gain intelligence from it. One guy got busted for selling Mephedrone as a drug on here. I used to speak to him everyday and he went mad from the stuff… Remember one week he made 5000 pounds from the stuff, he was so close to taking off to Thailand and living like a king (he lived in India for 3 years on 7000 pounds like a king then returned to Scotland)…

Oh Kieran I hope your mental health and physical health is back as I knew the extent of the damage you’d done to yourself (I was told grim details)… Also I hope you didn’t get locked up in either the psyche ward or prison.

Police gain intelligence… well, yeah, cops catch criminals. Don’t know if anybody actually told you that’s what cops do. Now you know.

I would guess it’s kind of useful to such people that some people put up something of a smokescreen in regard to the activities, in the hope of being arrested… then counter sueing the cops for wrongful arrest and harrassment. Or indeed any other Nazi minded control freaks who think that because they have a badge, they are above the law.

Has nothing to do with getting a prescription medicine though, and it is probably worth remarking that some cancer patients are now receiving full quality and strength cannabis oil as a form of chemotherapy (not Sativex, the ultra thick and sticky 80-90% pure THC oil).

“Don’t get mad – get even.”

No. Although I am more likely to contract type 2 diabetes if I don’t watch my weight as a I grow older. Likewise stroke threat… currently 6% annually, if I can keep blood sugar and chlorestrol within a certain range I should be OK.

I’d like it if more of them stuck to their ‘oath’ and stuck more to the common law but sadly mostly i see bullshit police officer (whatever other ranks they have) revenue collection. criminal = someone who commit a crime… 33 miles in a 30 zone… BZZZZZZZZZZ CRIMINAL!! FINE FINE FINE POINTS POINTS POINTS!! :laugh_at:

, … of … do solemnly and sincerely declare and affirm that I will well and truly serve the Queen in the office of constable, with fairness, integrity, diligence and impartiality, upholding fundamental human rights and according equal respect to all people; and that I will, to the best of my power, cause the peace to be kept and preserved and prevent all offences against people and property; and that while I continue to hold the said office I will to the best of my skill and knowledge discharge all the duties thereof faithfully according to law.

We need more constables and less officers man!!

I love you all. Peace and be well!

Whoa! Thank you so much for this – I have Multiple Sclerosis and Lupus, and a serious blood clotting disease. My Dr’s know I smoke cannabis because despite all their pharmaceuticals (40 a day) my life would be intolerable without it. I have asked for sativex so many times, been told only if I pay privately, otherwise it’s more pharmaceuticals until they pack my liver in, then I can have it on the NHS! (and despite how much I smoke, it’s still way cheaper than sativex)
Seeing as I’ve also had 2 strokes, clots in my lungs and leg due to the blood problems I have – you’d think they’d prefer me not smoking, and give me Sativex! Well – feeling better already. Seeing my Neurologist on Monday and shall use this little nugget of wisdom!

true, true. It grows in the ground. It should just be legal to grow. It’s a beautiful plant…

“Easiest” method is not always the “best” method. Still, you want to fuck yourselves up with chemical crap, that is entirely your choice, and I respect it.

Oh, and well done for keeping the pharma companies in business. I’m sure their shareholders are PROUD of you. 🙂

    Have a nice life.

True, true, grows naturally in the ground like flowers. Surely it’s better to grow your own as you like it than to have to line the pockets of (sometimes untrustworthy) dealers or (frequently untrustworthy) drug companies? Mind you, I love the idea of having the choice of growing or buying good, dry bud from a specialist shop.
