I think if I were wealthy I would buy 100s of 1000s of seeds ( which apparently are legal to own, just illegal to cultivate ), hand them out freely, scatter them in all wild and public spaces, even in random front gardens, and encourage everyone to do the same.

Imagine, weed plants just popping up everywhere all round the country, no one could be arrested if they were suddenly everywhere at once lol

I have Multiple Sclerosis and one of my symptoms is dystonia. you can look it up… I take 40 pills a day; enough to floor a hard core junkie. They’re not enough to manage my pain, so I smoke about 1/2 oz of skunk a week. It’s the only thing that alleviates the pain and makes my life worth living. But, I can’t afford it. I think that’s a fair amount by anyones standards?
So, to get sativex I have to up the doses of my pills to dangerous levels. then I have to add extra in, and when it looks as if my kidneys might pack up I’ll get sativex. UNLESS I can pay privately. Then I just get it. But I can’t pay to see a private Neurologist every month and pay him for sativex.
Even though Sativex is licenced in the UK it is not NICE approved. They’re the ones who count the money for the drugs Dr’s are allowed to prescribe, and the ones they are not. So, I really doubt very much that anybody is going to find getting a prescription for recreational use very easy. Sativex is only licensed for a very few diseases anyway – and they’d be hard to fake.
The answer? LEGALISE Marijuana and BAN alcohol! I never saw anyone wanting to fight after a few joints.

Hi i have a disease called Transverse myelitis which is very rare and causes me severe spinal nerve pain, spasticity, i have no sensation in my legs and am unable to walk. I take very strong pain medication which is not helping all that much anymore. I have been looking at this sativex and it seems to really help people with nerve pain do you think i would qualify for it??? How do i go about getting it???
I have smoked weed and it dose help a lot but i have two kids and don’t like to expose them to it (not to say its wrong but parents want to protect there kids from drugs not expose them to it). Also the health risks involved with smoking put me off. But the sativex is in a spay form and i can live with that!!!
I ask you because you seem to be knowledgeable about this stuff and with you having MS you know the kind of difficulties i am facing since MS and Transverse myelitis are inextricably linked.

i watched some programme about medicinal marajuana, it may have been a bbc documtary, and it showed a lady that needed pain relief and had had a quite nasty car accident… she didnt want to smoke and was given a machine that makes cannabis gas (not sure if thats the correct term but u get what i mean)… you can probably find the vid with a little looking on youtube… maybe you can get this treatment yourself?

no, it was more complicated than this, it seemed like u needed special equipment to make the gas, so maybe its costly and so tricky to get, but its worth a go… but actually thats a good point… if u dont want to smoke, get a vapouriser, the cheaper ones are rubbish in my short experience but have heard ones that cost a bit more are really good, and im guessing the vapour is fairly harmless… although your kids may learn something at an early age >.>

A vapouriser eh this looks promising cheers dudes!! Prob gunna be a pain in the arse tryin get it from the doc anyway i had a hard time tryin to get a fuckin wheelchair from um fuckin bullshit spendin cuts!!!

after reading this i actually feel like there is hope for me. im 27 with progressive remitting MS. i have tried all different treatments and pain relief prescribed either through my GP or Nero.

the treatments have only made me worse or failed to stop relapses (which is crap as i have a small family to look after.) some treatments have left me in a wheel chair and even un able to wash my own arse dew to the tremor it has caused.

having a bag of wee strapped to my let just is not cool quite frankly a bag should be worn on the shoulder not on the leg. but the pain … god help me the pain is just unreal every thing else i have been able to deal with but the pain is awful. after talking to the ms nurse and several GPS 4 of them suggested weed. so off i went on my lil ol mission to find a bag of weed and lots of it. if this shit can help then im gonna get as much as i can! eventually i seceded in my mission had a smoke, made some cakes and waited …. great i finally have pain relief but what also comes with it is paranoia, the munchies and a severe hang over the next day.

i also acted like a weirdo. so off i go again to my ms nurse begging for help. her reply? “here is some coadine take the maximum dose and speak to your GP regarding an inhaler that is cannabis based. but beware he may not give you it as it costs a fortune” great so how on earth do i get something that will relax my muscles with out the crappy shit in it i know im entitled to? then i find this!

im off to the docs tomorrow @ 09.10am so wish me luck as im armed with the threat ill sue em for being negligent. i know i fit the criteria so lets just hope i don’t have to fight to hard to get it.
