🙁
we arrived on saturday..the police stopped us and blocked the way to party. there was no sound… other partypeople say that the police have taken the aggregates etc.
Someone knows more?
Hi guys!
Yes.:The story is: organizator made a party in da Bunker with 4 stages, but at a freeparty webpage someone told its a freetek for all systems, so systems marked, they want to come. We had to find another place, but that was only maybe 1 km from Bunker. I dont know why my friends did not mark again in police but not…
We arrived at friday evening (we had problems with the car), and when we arrived, i started to get the phone. That was killer but i hoped, on saturday maybe it will be easyer. i did not partying till the storm. When storm was coming, the energy of telephone was over. i found the organizator and put him the phone to fill. Then storm was coming…i got the phone again in the morning. We went to the balaton and shopping and when we went back to party, organizator guy called me and asked to stop the infoline because the police are there. FUCK!
We could go back, but maybe at 16-17 h police stopped the party. they liee everything, when we asked, why… But i think they dont need to say anyting. its enough, they have uniform and can do everything. They have taken the organizator, who couldnt arrange anything…they told, its not the same party like Bunker blablabla….
Our datas in da police, and they told us we have to leave the place till sunday 14 h.
At night a little system pushed the music, that was the last, and stopped in the morning. Then we had to go out.
Monkey family asked a help from us, because the paper was strange and didnt know, if they will get back the aggregates. my friend was spoken with the police and have more datas, for example the policeman’s datas who have taken the stuffs, an adress where they have to go in the morning etc. Sound systems got back their stuffs.
I called the organizator guy, and he told me maybe he wont have to be punished. Maybe.
Im so so sorry guys! :((( i couldt partying just only 1-2 hour. Im very very sad…:((( And please dont be angry with the hungarians, we tried to do everything…
Next year, I decided, I will be the organizator and will find a private place for us. Im very very angry, not only the police…
there were really nice guys, very good sounds, fantastic everything…im crying, i couldnt do anything..
Please forgive us!!!

it is not your fault… anywhere in EU if the organiser agrees a location with the police and changes it at last minute they will get in trouble. you were quite lucky in HU to have police who would even let you do this (it sounds from what you say the police were initially prepared to tolerate some sort of event there but not on the same scale) in UK they confiscate all the sound equipment and have even sent people to prison, unless they get a full license…
Especially after what happened at loveparade in Germany, and also crime rising at our expensive legal festivals in England, cops all about europe are frightened about safety at large music festivals.
I am “he”… 🙂 I was just wondering if on the 13 all the sounds were already set… We had experiences of partys supposedly starting one day and then ppl arriving the next. Anyway we couldn’t make it as we anticipated our movement to portugal…. very sorry to hear that it was blocked :annoyed: alas repression is running wild
I would say it was a big shame (or ç’est dommage in French) but would hesitate to call this repression – even in comparison to what happens in other European nations…
from what Vanda is saying its a case of the first party was sort of tolerated and approved by the Police, in return for there only being so many rigs. if this happens usually the “112 services” have had a look over the area, estimated how many people may turn up, and decided it is safe for them to do so – Then someone else invited more rigs from other regions and nations.
So then the authorities decided too many people might arrive for them to be safe and stopped the party by confiscating the electric generator sets and encouraging people to disperse. it appears they arrested the organiser and then let him free on bail, hopefully he will not be badly punished for what appears to be a misunderstanding.
it is a pity everyone could not have their party but this increasingly happens everywhere in EU nations, and really it is usually because when a party happens it creates extra risks and costs to the wider region.
Someone might get unwell through drugs, they might crash their car, a fight might break out, and the 112-services have to respond. This costs €€€ which the local people in the area usuallly end up paying. (of course some of the local people might be enjoying the party, but they should really have the right to decide if its worth their taxes subsidising it).
The Europe of today is not the rich, optimistic, happier Europe of our teenage years and 20s. it is still a good place to live, but there are a lot more risks with large gatherings of young people. At everything from small parties in England to large international events I’ve noticed a lot more bad incidents than before – not so much that the events are really more “unsafe” but there isn’t a proper community there, just people taking as much alcohol and drugs as possible (which can be an expensive burden on the public health services we all enjoy in Europe!)
So it is for Vanda and her friends to discuss with their local authorities and community a good place to have this event, us foreigners who do not pay taxes in Hungary do not have the right to say how the elected authorities in another country there should spend their money especially in a economic depression.
Ordering people about in other lands is indeed repression, our common history shows
how this has led to a lot of bad things in the past!
Dears! Very thanx for your understanding! Yes, the police was not to agressive, and really, i think this big sound was too much for the region. But anyway we couldn’t imagine this party will be such as big as it became! Organizator only wanted a little party with the americans and an österreich sound systems and hungarians, but was a misunderstanding, all sound was invited, and organizator couldn’t say them, nono, you are not allowed! We were very happy, this event became a real teknival that Hungary haven’t seen since the end of 90’s…and hope there will be no problem…but more and more and more sound systems were coming, and maybe it was too much..
So sorry, guys! You cannot imagine what sad I am…I wanted to put my oldscool trance vinyls for you at a sunny day…ehh…have to wait one more year.:(

incidentally – Das Aggregat (DE) is better translated as “(electric) generator set” in English,
I understand its a common word to use for the electric generator in many European languages, but if you came to the UK and asked in the buildings supplies place for “aggregate” the staff there will think you want 25 kilo bags of building sand and/or small rocks/stones used to make concrete with, or that people put on their gardens!
sometimes this stuff is also put up in big barricades in country lanes to stop people getting into areas to have a party. So in the UK aggregate is used to stop a party, whilst in Europe is it used to make one happen!
Very bad, but it’s not your fault. We hope and looking forward to a fat party at a private place next year!!! 😉
