  • why do you think damaging things should be banned? ice cream and chocolate are damaging if abused, should they be banned? What about jogging on concrete? that’s bad for the knees. Costs the NHS money. We should ban it for sure. Also chips – terrible for the health. And coffe/tea, also very addictive and bad for the heart.

Also sex – people are getting all sorts of illnesses from being irresponsible with their sex lives – we should definately ban sex too

    and breathing.

ps i also feel i should point out that prohibition of alcohol is completely unworkable. ANYONE can brew up alcohol at home, it’s the easiest drug in the world to synthesize. If I leave a smoothie in my fridge too long it turns alcoholic

you only need to look to america to see how unworkable it is, the gangs that grew strength through the black market of alcohol are still causing american trouble today

I Feel great too, no bloodshot eyes in the morning, clearer head, no cravings for fatty foods all day to soak up all the booze from the night before. it all good.

(sorry to bring up an old thread guys just wanted to report back 🙂

I forgot to thank you guys for your input in this thread, I think I was worrying to much about it Tbh. Still, I dont think drinking (even only a couple of cans) every night should be seen as acceptable somehow……

Ok, coming from an Irish Alocoholic, if you think you have a problem then you have…

Go to an open AA meeting, you’ll find info online, turn up 10 minutes early and sit down, you dont have participate, just sit and listen, if you find yourself more in common with the people there than not, you need help..

Simply not drinking will work in the short term, but to properly tackle this problem you have to find out why it is you drink and deal with those issues, think back to when this binge started, what changed in your life back then? Is it a longer standing issue. Also at the end of it it could be a subconcious compulsive issue.

    In conclusion

Got to an AA meeting and go to your local GP, tell them whats happening..

Good luck mate, hope it works out for you.
