I can drink with sophistication though. Chambord & Champagne is fucking delicious.
you will grow out of it man, I was the same in my late teens early 20’s. Now I don’t drink cos it’s caused me more problems than it’s worth, probably have a drink once every couple of months, when I was younger never thought i’d be saying that but you will be surprised how you grow up and grow out of it with age. Just enjoy it till you know enoughs enough.

Vodka is too good to me though. Need something to take off the edge off a hard days work, especially on days like today where i’ve finished a 10 hour shift in a kitchen that was at least 35 degrees and I was running around all day. Look like i’m coming down off a 3 day coke binge.
I have to add – I passed out due to the heat today and this has never happened to me before.
Two words mate Tai Chi Chu’an. OK Three words.
Seriously though, I wouldn’t wish the fear and agony of DTs on my worst enemy. Don’t let it become a regular thing. I am a living testament to how damaging this poison can be. You don’t want to get the the stage where you have to drink just to feel normal. Just so you don’t have the fever and the shakes and the terrible, frightening hallucinations, the sickness, the aches and pains. I could go on but just don’t dude! I wish I had never even heard of alcohol!
I agree with Chispy mate. You may be in control at the moment but if addiction takes hold it will have horrible consequences. Incidentally an acquaintance of mine died just last week of liver failure due to heavy drinking. No body saw it coming, his liver just packed in without warning, lad was only 23 or 24 I think too.
Sorry to hear that man. I hope it’s not too late for me!

Thanks but I wasn’t at all close to him so I wasn’t really bothered when I heard the news. Just a shame he was so young. Hope it isn’t too late for you too buddy
How alcohol affects the brain and the number of mental side effects that can result from regularly drinking too much.
it takes me 3 days to recover from a session now, 5 days before my energy levels are back. hangovers become hard in your 30’s, friends become fewer, money becomes tight, oppertunities and good women will slip, your mood and outlook darkens and shame becomes the norm. keep your drinking minimal.
