Well hit me up if you plan on a Brighton night anytime 🙂

I prefer DnB parties in clubs as the crowd that attend them are usually really well behaved and passionate about the music (such nights as hospitality).
Where as if you had a squat party with DnB it can get really really dodgy.
It really depends where you go tbh, I’ve been to some amazing commercial and squat D+B night with surprisingly fluffy crowds, then I’ve been to some totally awful clubs and squat nights playing dark music that just bring bad crowds. Really big events tend to get a mix of people as the crowds are so diverse, but there are, or at least used to be when I went squat raving regularly some systems with amazing crowds that follow them. For example unsound used to normaly bring a really decent crwod in, can’t remember seeing more then a hand full of chancers at and single one of their parties that I can remember.
I think things have changed a fair bit now though, as the scene has opened up a bit due to the internet and facebook, it’s more accessible then when I used to go, and I’ve noticed a big influx of young moody folk as the appeal of doing something illegal is part of the reason they go, not to escape the mainstream scene like what a lot of people I know from raving went for. That’s not rose tinted glasses, as like I say … there’ve been a fair few parties I’ve been to full of dodgy fuckers, just other then psy raves or the really dancey 4/4 raves like hard house/trance etc. (and even them type of parties get their fair share of trouble makes from time to time) I’ve noticed more and more of a moody crowd with dark music. Might just of been the parties I’ve been to recently and just got unlucky as I’m not really in the loop at all anymore so kinda get what I’m given with regards to details, or could be that now I’m a bit older I notice these things more?
