Incidentally if d.r.e.a.m’s circle of friends is fairly well travelled/multicultural then its perfectly possible he has seen the “warning packs” already, as a fair few countries are already using them…

i had some german fags with a pic of a corpse on the front and some message underneath, didnt do anything tbh, dont know why there gonna waste even more money and end up having the raise the prices of fags again.

the one with the Asian guy smoking with skulls around him just looks more like a ghost scene from the sort of second-rate made for TV movies/soap operas (as you would expect, inspired by a combination of Bollywood and Hong Kong action films) that are shown on the telly in that part of the world :laugh_at:

as well as Thailand the packs are already around in Canada, Singapore and Australia (the last 3 are Commonwealth nations with a culture similar to that of Britain)

anyone good at crafts/metalwork etc here? – I reckon there’s a fair bit of money to be made from making cigarette cases and tobacco-boxes :laugh_at:

dont we made decisions as adults what to put into our bodys whilst knowing the risks everyday?
Then why do Mac Filth (etc) get away with not having dead bodies on their packaging???

I doubt photo’s of cirrhosised livers splatted on cider cans would do anything to limit my drinking either?!

but what is the problem with the pictures on fags thing?

we all know its bad for us, so mos likely not have any effect . . . an for those who it does, isn’t that a good thing (i gave up but have gone back)

are we against people giving up? does it matter why?
