ok so i have this friend, we will call him david. he was prescribed this new heavy duty ADHD prescription medication called focalin. david did all the research and found out that a lot of people are using it to get high in many forms – oral route (the way it’s usually prescribed); vacuum nose; free basing. he prefers the vacuum nose technique and even after using it for a high for several months, it still provides the same effects as the first time – sort of like pot. when he uses it in the morning before work, he says he can go hours at work without eating and nonstop working. he is more cheerful and friendlier towards his customers and has even been given giftcards to his place of work for being that friendly.
sometimes he likes to come home after a hard day’s work and have a beer or 2. but he cannot just have some beer – he needs to feel as good as he did that morning so he sniffs some more of his meds and thus begins drinking more because he cannot feel drunk. david drank an 18 pk of beer one saturday night and did not feel drunk whatsoever because he sniffed some focalin. the only reason he knew he was drunk the night before and not feeling it is the next morning he wakes up with a bad hangover. the hangover is not just the beer either, it’s coming down from the focalin as well.
david told me all of this so that i can warn the rest of you, lol, that if you decide to drink and combine ADHD meds – you will not feel drunk. trust david.
Your information is not very accurate at all and I would go so far as to sat that it is incorrect. I have adhd and Im on concerta which is also a stronger than normal dose. Doing larger amounts of this does not mean you don’t get drunk. It’s closely related to Speed which contains amphetamine sulphate, the adhd meds contain methylphenidate hydrochloride. This is why they are a prescription drug. You have exaggerated extensively in your “warning” and also the fact that you are telling a story that your friend told you about himself doesn’t give your “warning” much credibilty. Sorry if I come across harsh, I don’t like when I see misinformation.
Hey thewiredone, you’re wrong. If you have the meds do the test, I’ve done plenty of em and with others can confirm.
yeah i’ve gotta second tryptameanie and slimshifty217 that when drinking on stimulants it is hard to get drunk and you can put away tons of beer, esp if you are snorting your stims
On top of that, actually drinking anythng, alcoholic enough can be bigh on impossible.
